I'm Kate the creative mind behind Poured Soul Art and today I'm going to teach you the basics of Ring pouring! Applying this technique should help you achieve those definitive lines in ring pouring that everybody is after. It's a little complicated at first, but you'll get the hang of it. If you're new to my YouTube channel make sure to check out the other videos I have up for helpful hacks and make sure to subscribe so you don't miss any tips, tricks and tutorials I'm using a line of my own products that are sold in my Etsy shop and I'll leave the link below. You can also find a link to a free tutorial guide of the fundamentals for pouring. It goes over products you can use and some simple rules and things to go by. So for today's pour, I'm going to use my ready to pour paints. These are pre-mixed high-quality paint that you can find in my Etsy shop. I have 14 signature colors. Six are metallic, Six are bright and then I have black and white. I also have another line of additives. I have an oil free cell mix and I also have pouring medium available. For today's specific pour, I'm going to be using the colors in my shop. The first one I'm going to be using is "Kinky Pink" and that's a really bright pink. The next color I'm going to be using is a purple. I named this after the honest flower, so I named it "Honest Purple!" The third one is a metallic and that's "No Fool's Gold" also from my metallic collection is the "Poseidon Teal." "Northern Lights Green" is just a bright color. "Starry Night Blue" is a metallic. Then we have "Wick'ed White" which is also similar to a titanium white as it has a similar density. Then "Luminous Yellow", so I'm hoping to kind of achieve a green. So those are the colors that I'll be using and like I said they're all premixed. One thing that's great about using metallic is mixing them with colors that aren't metallic so that you can get them to kind of swirl into the painting a little more. They become a little more prominent. If you use all metallic it doesn't stand out as much.
