A City Run by Students !? 👀

What happens when you hand the keys of a community to a group of students? You get Micro Society, and it’s pretty incredible. This week, parents and guardians got to step inside their 5th-grade students’ world to shadow them. And what a world it is. Students run the show with real responsibilities: 🏦 A working bank ⚖️ A courtroom with a student judge 🎨 Graphics teams designing and printing shirts and items 🛟 Safety teams helping keep things running smoothly …and plenty of student-run businesses. They even earn “paychecks” in fun money for their jobs, which they can spend on snacks, gifts, and creations made by their classmates. It’s hands-on learning at its best—where students explore business, government, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving by actually living it. A whole society… built by kids. And honestly?
