"I was heartbroken that i couldn't provide any help to my family" Said Sara. Sara, 21 years old, lost both her legs in an airstrike during the war. Her life was filled with pain and despair as she felt helpless, unable to assist her parents who needed her support. Hope was reignited when our mobile teams visited the camps and heard her story. Sara was referred to the Sijjo Center for Disability Support, where she received lower limb prosthetics that allowed her to stand and walk freely again. Today, Sara moves with ease and can finally provide the help her parents have always needed. Her new steps are more than a fresh start—they are a testament to resilience and hope in the face of adversity.
