Kashmir's Dangerous Tracks | Baboon Top to Domeli Forest | Neelum Valley

Baboon top to Domeli forest jeep track is one of the horrible and terrible tracks of Kashmir with narrow road and a deep fall at one side. We had to get out of the jeep three times because the trail was too dangerous and risky but yes, the natural beauty all around is stunning — the sky-high mountains, the clear blue sky, the lush greenery, the flowing streams, and the serene atmosphere — everything is simply beyond words. From Baboon Top, it takes about three hours to reach Domeli Forest camping site, where numerous water streams enhance the tranquillity and charm of the area, adding to its peace and allure. There are a few shops and camps to stay overnight. Only a 4*4 vehicle can make it to the forest of Domeli because the track is steep and rocky both from Baboon top and from Keran. For us, passing through this forest and camping site was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend spending a night there — immersed in true wilderness and cool, crisp weather.
