Like many of these trucks the compass and temperature mirror doesn't work. This is common in tahoe, yukon and escalade. We replace the onstar mirror with another. I also address the random climate control knobs. When turning the knobs before it would always go down. I was going to replace the whole unit but used some electronic cleaner that seemed to do the trick. As the thumbnail shows we also got ride of a vehicle. Time will tell what the replacement will be.
