Day 1 of my first time ice climbing… and we’re only halfway through! We made it to the top of the first ice fall, which honestly would've been for the entire 3-day trip, but apparently we’re doing two more. Because celebrating your birthday by swinging sharp objects into frozen waterfalls seemed like a good idea at the time. Watch me learn ice climbing in real time while slowly realizing this is much harder (and scarier) than I expected.
