Fun with Four and Nine Patches: Explorations for Quilters and Fiber Artists Part 1

This workshop is fun for all levels of quiltmakers and fiber artists. While four and nine-patches are great design elements in their "virgin'' state, things really get interesting when they are stacked, recut, and resewn. We'll also be doing insertions. This is further use of the free cut piecing techniques which we've explored in earlier videos. The difference is that we are starting with a stack of four or nine patches. In part 1 we look at the virtues of 4 and 9 patches. They are easy to make, familiar to most everyone, and they maintain their design integrity when chopped up.
