Foghorn Soundscape | Opening Doors 2019

A wonderful collection of spoken word, environmental sounds and music set to stunning video imagery of Mid and East Antrim in Northern Ireland. One of the eleven new works of art, music and poetry inspired by people's stories from the area, commissioned in 2018-19 'Foghorn' audio was recorded and composed by Feargus Murphy Soundscape was recorded from a series of workshops and gatherings across Ballymena, Larne and Carrickfergus Visuals by Stephen Reid Created for the Opening Doors project in 2019 with support from Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and Arts Council Northern Ireland. Opening Doors is an art and music project in collaboration with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Wall2Wall Music, Queens University, Belfast and Voluntary Arts Ireland to make new music and art with local people from the area.
