In this video, Dr Suresh K Pandey, director & Chief Eye Surgeon, SuVi Eye Institute & Lasik Laser Center, Kota, Rajasthan, India (www.suvieye.com) performing a Live Cataract Surgery during the Rajasthan Ophthalmological (ROS) Conference held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Pandey demonstrated "Vacuum Assisted Phacoemulsification (with Zero Effective Phaco Time/EPT) using Abbott Medical Optics Sovereign Compact Phacoemulsification System (with WhiteStar ICE & CaSE). Tecnis One Piece IOL (AMO) was implanted using Emerald Injector System in a 55 years old female, with a case of age-related cataract. The Live Cataract Surgery session was very interactive and the surgeons- Dr. Rasik B Vajpayee (New Delhi), Dr. Mahipal S Sachdev (New Delhi), Dr. Ratan Purohit (Jodhpur), Dr. Virendra Agarwal (Jaipur), Dr. Suresh K Pandey (Kota)- demonstrated their preferred techniques. Organized at the Gateway Jodhpur (October 14-16, 2011), the 34th ROS Conference "Vision Beyond Imagination" was a grand success. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the local organizing committee led by Dr. C.S. Vyas, Dr. Ratan Purohit & Dr. Ajeet Jakhar. The scientific program was outstanding and Dr. Mukesh Sharma (Chairman, of Scientific Committee) deserves special thanks. The Rajasthan Ophthalmic Premier League (RPL) was organized for the first time in the ROS meeting and Dr. Arun Kshetrapal's sincere efforts made this event memorable.
