In this video we take a peak into the inner workings of a Big Daishowa mill spindle speed increaser. Despite BIG explicitly stating "non user serviceable" well, that just means we have to DIY it! I got this as a bandaid for my real problem, which is my cnc mill has a max rpm of 1500, this will allow for 7500! Video 2 is uploading now, and probably ready by the time you see this, it will have the full installation and testing. I also need help finding more info on the collets this uses, from what I can tell, they are designed to only work with the exact size they are made for, so I may need a set of metric if that's the case.
