This is Garry Glaub in Mooresville, North Carolina. Today, Paul explained that the existence and attributes of God are manifest in us. That means that without anyone telling us about God, we can see proof of both His existence and attributes, in His creation all around us. His creation includes us, so we even can look inside and find proof of God. Rome was surrounded by polytheists, and though our idolatry might be slightly different today, we are surrounded by people who either do not believe in God, or even if they do, they do not want to have anything to do with God. Paul summarizes that by saying, "thinking they were wise, they became fools." Psalms tells us that a fool has said in his heart that there is no God, which is a perfect definition of a fool. Paul also ties this disbelief in God to sexual immorality, and particularly, to homosexuality. Christians seem to judge this sin worse than all others, but all sins stink. Any sinner can ask for forgiveness, repent, and come to God. Paul certainly felt that way. He identified himself as the chief of sinners. Our challenge is to love people to Jesus, as judging them to Jesus does not work.
