I’ve been practicing law since 2002, and every few years the legal industry goes through a moment that’s labeled a “disruption.” Most of those moments don’t replace lawyers — they force us to become more efficient. After attending ABA Legal Tech Show (Chicago, Spring 2025) and Clio Cloud Conference (Boston, October 2025), one thing became very clear to me: AI isn’t disrupting law — structure is. In this video, I share: What I actually saw and heard at ABA Legal Tech and ClioCon 2025 Why AI is now table stakes — and why all AI (even expensive legal AI) still hallucinates How Arizona and Utah’s legal rule changes are reshaping the industry Why drafting tools alone don’t fix broken intake or delivery What the absence of estate-planning–specific solutions at major conferences tells us And why systems, people, and structure matter more than any single tool This isn’t a hype video. It’s an operational perspective from someone who is still practicing law and still responsible for outcomes. If this perspective is helpful, feel free to subscribe or follow along. I’ll keep sharing what I’m seeing as this next phase of the legal industry unfolds. #LegalTech #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfLaw #EstatePlanning #PracticeManagement #LawFirmGrowth #ABAtechshow #ClioCon
