Do I Really Need Running Socks?

I'm usually not that particular about my running socks. My feet aren't the toughest of feet, but things like sweat, blisters, or just being wet generally don't particular bother me or become issues. But, over time, I've started to realize that there are a couple of things that I look for in a running sock. And I think that, yes, you do need a running specific sock.
