In 2019 Apple released the third generation of Mac Pro to replace the previosly generation Mac pro launched in 2013. Now Apple would prepare to launch new Mac Pro for 2022. Mac Pro 2019 version marked the return to a tower form factor features a prominent lattice pattern on its front and rear sides. This generation is based on Intel Xeon-W processors and AMD Radeon Pro Vega GPUs. Currently, for CPU there are four configuration with 8 core ( 3.5GHz Intel Xeon W, 8 cores, 16 threads, Turbo Boost up to 4.0GHz, 24.5MB cache, Supports 2666MHz memory) 12 core (3.3GHz Intel Xeon W, 12 cores, 24 threads, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz, 31.25MB cache, Supports 2933MHz memory) 16 (3.2GHz Intel Xeon W, 16 cores, 32 threads, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz, 38MB cache, Supports 2933MHz memory) 24 core(24-Core, 2.7GHz Intel Xeon W, 24 cores, 48 threads, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz, 57MB cache, Supports 2933MHz memory) and 28 cores (28-Core, 2.5GHz Intel Xeon W 28 cores, 56 threads Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz 66.5MB cache, supports 2933MHz memory). And five options for gpu: AMD Radeon Pro 580X, AMD Radeon Pro W5500X, AMD Radeon Pro W5700X, AMD Radeon, Pro Vega II and AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo. Now, Twitter User "LeaksApplePro" reported Apple plan to release a new generation of Mac Pro in 2022 with new Apple Silicon cpu's. Always according to this leak, new Mac Pro 2022 cpu's would offer similar performance and power-efficient core designs of Apple M1. Furthermore, new Mac Pro will be available in three configurations. First configuration has 32 core model with 24 high-performance cores, 32 GPU cores, 64 GB of ram, at a starting price of 5,499 USD. Second configuration has 48 core model with 36 high-performance cores, 64 GPU cores, 256 GB of ram, at a starting price of 11,999 USD. Third configuration has 64 core model with 48 high-performance cores, 128 GPU cores, 512 GB of ram, at a starting price of 18,999 USD. Storage options should remain the same of today, in formats ranging from 512GB to 8TB of SSD. If these rumors were confirmed by Apple, the new Mac Pro would mark another step towards Apple's transition to its Apple Silicon processors.
