Cheryl Unis Mansour, as senior vice president donor relations, retired on January 1, 2025. She had served in her senior vice president role since September 2021, and was in her 20th year of dedicated service to the Foundation and more than three decades of leadership in philanthropy. Mansour leaves a lasting legacy at The Catholic Foundation. Her leadership, dedication, and passion have enriched countless lives, and her work will continue to inspire the Foundation’s mission for generations to come. Mansour’s connection to The Catholic Foundation runs deep. Her father, Thomas C. Unis, was one of the three founding members of the Foundation in December 1955, alongside Bishop Thomas K. Gorman and Edward R. Maher. “Serving donors of The Catholic Foundation has been the honor of my lifetime,” she said. “I want to express my appreciation to every donor I’ve ever served and thank them for trusting me to help carry out their charitable intentions. “The Catholic Foundation donors have changed the lives of thousands of people and organizations who benefit from their generosity,” Mansour added. “I am deeply honored to have had such a rewarding career that culminated in working for the nation’s longest serving Catholic community foundation that traces its roots back to my father’s hands.”
