Ninjas were first introduced in the NES port of Double Dragon II, where they are middle-class enemy characters. In the Zeebo version they first appears in the forth mission. There are two palette swaps - a red and a blue one. I have already shown the blue one on my channel. When playing with a red ninja, the ennemy red ninja becomes light brown. Game resources hint that the red ninja's name is Benimaru. Ninjas can kick, jump and punch, and also "teleport" and throw shurikens. The player can use these abilities as well. The red ninja is slightly faster than the blue one, shoots multiple consecutive shurikens per attack, the blue one is weaker and shoots one shuriken per attack.
