Join Natasha as she creates slimline envelopes to match your cards using dies from our Essentials Slim Cuts collection (supplies are linked below). Custom-made envelopes are a perfect finishing touch for your beautiful handmade slimline cards! To calculate the size of your envelope, measure your card and add ¼ inch to the longer side and 1/8 inch to the shorter side. Then double the short side measurement and add 1 inch to the long side for the flaps. Natasha's card is 3 7/8 x 8 7/8 inches, so the envelope needs to be 4 x 9 1/8 inches. You will need 8 x 10 1/8 inches piece of paper for the envelope base. You can play with the size of the flap. It has to be as long as your envelope (in Natasha's case – 9 1/8 inches), and the width is up to you. Natasha made it 3.5 inches.
