UPDATE: I've released a small Cheat Table for the game here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/187bn.... Designed for use on PCSX2, NTSC release only. I also have a PAL copy so I might make it compatible with PAL as well at a later date. Doesn't include handling replacement as the method I currently use is unreliable and prone to causing crashes. Feel free to do whatever you want with my cheat table, credit is always appreciated though. Yeah, I know Nitro-Fueled already made these characters officially playable, but making Velo (and the other bosses) properly playable in the original Crash Nitro Kart is something I've been working on for longer than I'd like to admit. Unfortunately, making these characters playable is not exactly simple. You may have noticed how the exhaust flames are misaligned with the kart. This occurs because the bosses have their own exhaust flames which only get loaded during boss races, and since I have not been able to figure out how to get them to load outside of boss races yet, I simply forced the game to use the regular flames for now. Eventually I'd like to convert this to a set of codes that can be easily applied to a real console. There are still a couple issues that prevent me from doing so though. Also I was tired when I recorded this which is partially why my driving sucks.
