The superior comfort provided by the TGX and TGS lets the driver really recover properly during breaks and overnight stops. Central to this are the new beds with their washable mattress covers, new, lighter aluminium frame and outstanding comfort. The mattresses on the anatomically designed slat frame offer a comfortable but firm base divided into zones of different firmness, just what the driver needs in order to emerge fully refreshed after a good night's sleep or a short break. The new, opaque curtains on their improved rails provide total privacy and are easily drawn before a sleep or break. They shut out the light well, allowing the driver to take full advantage of breaks from driving during the day. The ceiling in both the TGX high-roof cabs is high enough to allow the driver to stand up in the easily accessed central area. This makes it particularly easy to move around the cab. The fold-out table provides a convenient place to eat a meal or put things on in the evening or at night.
