The reason Leonardo learnt this song is that there was a viral trend on social media which was called “how did you dance in the 80’s” and it was everywhere for a good year or so and every time we heard it Leonardo would ask, “what is that song” So eventually he sat down and listened to it with his guitar in hand and came up with the version you hear in this video. No tutorial or guitar tabs, just playing by ear because he really likes the vibe of the song. In this video Leonardo sings some of the lyrics for the first time and we must say the crowd absolutely loved it. So many people approached us during and after the song to pass on their appreciation of Leonardo’s interpretation of the song which made him so proud as he had practiced this song a lot over a couple of years. We would like to congratulate Jimmy Somerville and the band Bronski Beat for creating this high vibe fast tempo song which has has brought so much fun to millions of people globally.
