Gigasword - Verrick the Alchemist Boss Fight (No Damage)

Still slowly making my way through Gigasword but here's one of the bosses that's a bit fun beaten without taking damage. Technically also without magic as it's a little too good in this game (can't really avoid shockwaves since they're the first sword upgrade). While I would prefer to be more aggressive in the second phase the boss had a tendency to randomly shoot more bullets if I did too much damage at once. A neat little puzzle Metroidvania where the challenge is lugging around your big sword that makes you move slower and jump lower so that getting it to the next room can sometimes require some planning. Your sword can also weigh down switches and activate stuff as you find upgrades. Collecting ore unlocks sword upgrades, including magic to heal and shoot fireballs or lightning (plus a temporary double damage buff I didn't bother to use). My biggest complaint so far is the game has a good bit of exposition that I feel slows things down a bit more than your sword. It may also turn some folks off as there's no fast travel and no key rebinding at this time. Gigasword can be purchased at https://store.steampowered.com/app/18...
