Stu uses his open strings a lot in this song. Listen for instance at bar 3 or 7. By using the open string it’s much for comfortable to play the (fast) 16th notes. The bass part got a lot of passing notes, such as the chromatic line in 10, or the use (again) of the open A string in bar 11. He also use the octaves very regular, for instance in bar 53, making use of the octaves (note = D), the fifth (note = A); seventh (note = C) and chromatic towards towards the G chord in the next bar (being the A and Ab note).
