When I first got into landscape photography I spent hundreds of dollars purchasing other photographers presets and much to my dismay I could never get them to look quite right on my photos and eventually I gave up and quit using them. It wasn’t until last year that I began to think about presets a bit differently with regards to how I was using them. In this video, I review the three main reasons why I think everyone should be creating their own Lightroom presets. These reasons vary from workflow efficiencies to enabling you to find your own personal creative style. And, if you’re not familiar with how to create your own presets in Lightroom, fret not, we’ll discuss that in detail as well. Once I began creating my own Lightroom presets, whether they were for workflow efficiencies or creative purposes, my post processing skill set increased and I became more confident in what qualities of an edit I like versus those that I didn’t. I hope this video will inspire you to begin making your own Lightroom presets that’ll enable you to take your photography post processing skill set to the next level! If you enjoyed this video, please consider giving it a thumbs up and let me know what you think in the comments below - I guarantee I'll get back to ya.
