One of the most extensive views of the Nickelodeon Studios property at Universal Studios Florida during the taping of the game show, "What Would You Do?". What Would You Do? is a 30-minute television show hosted by Marc Summers shown on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 1993. Robin Marrella acted as the on-camera stagehand for the show's first season. Both Summers and Marrella performed their respective duties on Double Dare, also on Nickelodeon. The show was produced in Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Florida; some early segments were produced at Universal Studios in Hollywood. Nickelodeon Studios was a production studio and theme park attraction run by the television network Nickelodeon at Universal Studios Florida. Opening on June 7, 1990, as The First World Headquarters for Kids, the studio attracted young tourists as contestants and audience members for Nickelodeon's live-action programming. At its peak, the studio employed 400 people and was the largest production studio in Florida, bringing $110 million in business to the state by 1994. The studio closed permanently on April 30, 2005, after much of Nickelodeon's production had moved to Nickelodeon on Sunset. Nickelodeon Studios ended its run having produced over 2,000 episodes of original programming. The Amazing Kreskin makes another appearance (The Amazing Kreskin Returns), performing an illusion where four audience members hide a tennis ball on the Universal Studios Florida lot and Kreskin has to find it. In the What Would You Do? Medley, a woman has to balance pancakes on her head; another has to pick a cherry from a pie using chopsticks in her mouth.— Ian Lueck (imdb) The Amazing Kreskin (born George Joseph Kresge; January 12, 1935 - December 10, 2024), also known as Kreskin, is an American mentalist who became popular on television in the 1970s. He was inspired to become a mentalist by Lee Falk's comic strip Mandrake the Magician, which features a crime-fighting stage magician. He has always presented himself as an "entertainer," never as a psychic, who operates on the basis of suggestion, not the paranormal or supernatural.
