Today we are replacing the low and high beam headlights in a 2012 Dodge Avenger. This job is something you can do! It is not too difficult and you don't need to pay your mechanic a lot of money to get this done. If you need headlights today you can find the 9006 and 9005 Sylvania headlights we used at Walmart. The low beam headlights (2 pack 9006 Sylvania Silverstar Ultra) are about $44 and the high beam headlights (Single 9005 Sylvania Silverstar Ultra) are about $26 each. The Silverstar Ultra headlights we used were the brightest light in the Sylvania series available at our Walmart. If you can plan for this job and order these headlights you may be able to find them in pairs at a lower price. If you are buying online look for a brands you have heard of, i.e. Sylvania, Philips, Hella , etc. If you are going with another brand, or LED's please make sure and do your research. If this is your 1st time plan for about 6 to 10 minutes per side. You may be able to do it quicker depending on your experience.
