This video is the result of that incredible experience. This video is a little different from my other videos. It's the first time I've included narration! I was inspired by the book "Lost Connections", which suggests that to combat the depression of our modern lifestyle, one has to reconnect with nature. That was precisely my experience in Sumatra. During my one-month stay in Sumatra, I trekked through the jungle of Bukit Lawang for three days to see orangutans in their natural habitats, took a ferry to the Mentawai Islands, went snorkeling, and spent five days in the jungle living with the Mentwai tribe. I have never felt so alive in my life, which is why I decided to create this travel/short documentary video about my love for nature. I want to share why everyone should embark on such a trip and reconnect with Mother Nature every now and then.
