During this webinar America Makes will explain how America Makes members can participate in the America Makes’ Advanced Manufacturing-Crisis Production Response (AMCPR) program – a program that will create a lasting framework for AM crisis response capabilities to help solve supply chain shortages. This initiative is sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and aims to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 on supply chains and strengthen the manufacturing base for future crises in the United States. America Makes program managers provide an overview of the program, with a focus on the development of a Model Repository & Platform (MRP) to enhance national mobilization and preparedness through digitally distributed manufacturing. As part of the MRP development, America Makes will be demonstrating example crises scenarios. Specific opportunities to support the execution of these crises scenarios and incorporation of your capabilities into the MRP will be discussed at the Workshop. Time will also be allotted for Q&A.
