Are You In The Market For a String Trimmer? Watch This. In this video, I will show my experience using Project Farm’s Top Rated String Trimmer. If you don’t know who Project Farm is then I high recommend you check out his YouTube channel (linked below). When it comes to in depth and highly researched reviews, no one does it better than him. The weed eater we are looking at today is the 60V MAX Brushless Cordless Battery Powered String Trimmer. This weed wacker has a brushless motor and accepts multiple Dewalt outdoor power tool attachments. My favorite feature about this trimmer is its start up torque. There is hardly any delay between pressing the trimmer and the head firing up. My other trimmers have a slight delay when firing the trigger but the Dewalt fires up almost instantly. Another thing I really love about this trimmer is the rubber handle, it is easily the best feeling handle out of all 3 of my string trimmers. The one area this trimmer lacks in is its trimmer head. After reading multiple reviews and testing it myself, I came to the conclusion that the stock Dewalt head needed to be replaced. I upgraded the head to an Echo Speedfeed Trimmer head. This is my favorite trimmer head for 2 reasons. The first, is that it has a very solid build quality (much better than the stock Dewalt head). The second is that it is VERY easy to reload the string. It doesn’t require you do detach the head and manually respool the string. All you have to do is feed the line through the head, rotate it and will automatically spool the head for you. That being said, this battery string trimmer is without a doubt, the best string trimmer I have ever used.
