A cold snowy hike to Mount LeConte with up to 8 inches of snow at the LeConte Lodge. (GoPro) Hiking in the snow to Mt LeConte is always special, I used to go to the LeConte Lodge every winter for many many years. This day they closed the gates so we had to park at the Science Center and walk the road up to the trailhead. At this point, it is a rain/sleet mix. As we made our way onto and up Bull Head trail the snow flakes became more and the snow got deeper. Check out that amazing Rainbow Falls when there is snow on the ground. Wow it's amzing.
