In 1995, Nigel Mansell had finished his CART tenure and was back in Europe, and Ron Dennis, trying to keep Marlboro happy, signed Nigel up to be his driver in 1995, alongside Mika Hakkinen. Nigel had been out of luck getting a Williams for 1995, so decided to go along with McLaren. But it was a nightmare as at first he didn't fit into the MP4/10, and then couldn't get his head round how to drive it. After just two races, he was done, and replaced by Mark Blundell.
