How to Install the ARRI/ZEISS Master Anamorphic Flare Set
In this video our lens technician Simon Sommer from ZEISS will demonstrate how to add more flares into the existing ARRI/ZEISS Master Anamorphic Lenses. Step by step Simon will remove the front and rear glass elements and replace it with the flare elements. The front and rear glass elements of the flare set have a special lens coating that encourages flaring, ghosting and veiling glare. The ARRI/ZEISS Master Anamorphic Lenses give DOPs the option to have a clear anamorphic image and by adding the flare set getting a more lively and creative look. The procedure is the same for all seven focal lengths.
