📸   / robbiefatt   So I recently got a Zeiss Contax 35mm 2.8 MMJ modified with a fixed F3.5 2x Oval Iris to replicate an "anamorphic look". Optically it looks pretty good but I think I would prefer the lens a little bit faster. The cut isn't that finessed because my computer was unable to playback the footage in real time. But overall I am very happy with this lens :D I really wanted to try and soften this camera as much as possible so I had a variety of filters on the front of my camera but mainly a Tiffen Black Satin 1. I think the look that this combination creates is quite filmic. I did run out of light towards the end as I was chasing magic hour.
