"I'm Richard Creith and I'm not enjoying this yin bit!" Filmed in December 2009, Richard Creith overcomes his camera nerves to give Ballymoney Museum a classic interview about his motorcycle road racing experiences. Richard dominated Irish road racing in the early 1960s and achieved memorable wins on his 500cc Ryan Norton at the Ulster Grand Prix and North West 200 in 1964 & 1965. A sporting hero to many of his generation, here he talks modestly about his experiences duelling with Billy McCosh (seated on his left) at the Killinchy 150 in 1965; advice on vibrating handlebars; Ray Fleck's pins giving him bother; winning the Ulster Grand Prix in 1964; his introduction to road racing; his retirement from racing and, lastly, the scrutineers who tried to ban his dirty bike!
