Everyone is Leaving! | The Legend of Vox Machina - 3x12 Souls in Darkness | Group Reaction

The series finale (so far!). Keyleth faces off in one last stand against Raishan and Percy returns as The Normies react to season 3 episode 12 of The Legend of Vox Machina, "Souls in Darkness." Chris, Pat, Spidey, Navi, Suraj and Rana share their thoughts on the episode!! The undead Thordak (LeVar Burton), now controlled by Raishan's consciousness, gloats over Keyleth (Marisha Ray), telling her this is the perfect body to destroy every Ashari village. Vox Machina tries to fight the dragon, but to no avail. Subduing most of them with rune-carved blocks of stone sent flying, it forms a barrier of energy blocking Keyleth from the rest of the party. Just as Thordak sends its final attack at Keyleth, Grog (Travis Willingham) breaks the wall holding them back and Vax (Liam O'Brien) races through. An immense earth elemental rises from beneath the creature -- Keyleth. As Keyleth attacks, Vax shoots Ripley's gun into it. Finally, it dies. Vax hears Percy's (Taliesin Jaffe) voice calling for help again from the gun Keyleth collapses, Vax there to catch her. They kiss, but she immediately vomits from the poison. Later, Keyleth is in bed as Vax cares for her. He prays to the Matron of Ravens (Courtenay Taylor) for guidance, who warn him saving Percy would violate the barrier between life and death, and would come with a cost. Vax demands to know the way this could be done. He wakes from the vision. The next day, the Council meets to discuss this. Vax shares that Percy's soul is imprisoned inside Orthax (Matthew Mercer), which is inside the gun, and he believes he can retrieve it. They decide to proceed, and Pike (Ashley Johnson) heals Percy's body as best she can. As they perform the ritual, Vax is pulled into a vision. Orthax offers him freedom from the Matron's control, but Vax focuses on saving Percy. Outside the ritual, Vex (Laura Bailey) calls to Percy, saying her heart belongs to him, her tears falling onto the forge in the vision. Finally, Percy reaches out to Vax's hand and they both sit up, no longer in the vision. Vex hugs Percy ecstatically. Much later, the city of Emon is rebuilding and Percy is gradually regaining strength, helped by Vex. Vax reveals a spreading dark stain on his wrist, noting that the Matron will not forget what he did. Inside, however, Vox Machina and their friends are having a celebration with plenty of champagne and chicken, revealing their plans for the future, together and apart. However, elsewhere, a group of cultists is gathered in an ominous temple, bleeding from their bandaged eyes and chanting: "We are his sight. We are his voice. We are his touch. We are his heart. We are his blood. We are his blood!" As the chant crescendos, purple lightning crackles around a spinning black orb and a horrific face briefly appears.
