For this three-part series, film-makers Jörn and Tammo Gläser joined several different farmers and agricultural contractors for the season. The agricultural industry in South Africa is incredibly varied! Farmers have to deal with major challenges and the different soil and weather conditions mean that not everywhere is conducive to productive arable farming. The focus of these independent films is on fieldwork with modern tractors and agricultural machinery from John Deere, Fendt, Claas and Case IH, amongst others.
