Kia has introduced two new variants of the Carens Clavis EV. The new HTX E variant is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh, while the HTX E [ER] costs Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new HTX E trim is positioned between the HTK+ and HTX variants. With this, the Carens Clavis EV is now available in six variants: HTK+, HTX E, HTX, HTX E [ER], HTX [ER], and HTX+ [ER]. The new HTX E and HTX E [ER] variants come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, LED lamps for all three rows, window auto up/down for all windows, ECM IRVM, a wireless charger, and a two-tone steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment. The EV also gets leatherette seats with a seat back folding table, an air purifier, a multi-coloured mood lamp with footwell illumination, and solar glass. The Carens Clavis EV is available with two battery options: the 42 kWh battery pack offers a range of 404 km, while the bigger 51.4 kWh battery gives the car a range of 490 km. The 42 kWh battery powers an electric motor that makes 133 BHP and 255 Nm, while the ER variant comes with a more powerful 169 BHP electric motor.
