This Seekh Kebab Masala is rich, smoky, and packed with flavour — the perfect quick recipe to elevate frozen kebabs into a proper desi-style meal! 🌶️🔥 We start by heating a little oil in a pan and adding zeera, followed by one bay leaf and one star anise to build that deep aroma. Next goes ginger, garlic, and green chillies, stir-fried until slightly golden. Once fragrant, add one large chopped onion and cook until beautifully golden brown. Now add two finely chopped medium tomatoes and stir everything together. Keep adding a little water in between so the masala doesn’t dry out — we want it rich and smooth. Time for the spices! Add: 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala ½ tsp salt 1 tsp tandoori masala Mix well, then add one chicken cube and a little butter for extra flavour. Cook until the masala is well done and slightly browned. Finally, chop frozen seekh kebabs into small pieces and add them to the masala. Let everything cook together so the kebabs soak up all that goodness. Garnish with fresh green chillies and coriander, and you’re done!
