Dr. Nallamothu is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. He completed both his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State University, McLaren Oakland, where he served as Chief Resident. After completing his residency in 1999, Dr. Nallamothu went into private practice with an orthopedic group before founding Michigan Center for Orthopedic Surgery in 2003. According to Dr. Nallamothu, “I work to develop a partnership with my patients. On my part, this begins with listening. And one of the most important things I need to know is how the physical problem affects this patient’s life. We develop a dialogue, through which my patients understand the diagnostic process, their own unique problem, their treatment choices, and the recovery process.
