Morgan Chapel, a brick church built in 1851, stood between Union and Confederate clashes along the corridor between Martinsburg, W. Va., and Winchester, Va., during the Civil War. The church still stands today, and graffiti on its interior walls bears witness to the violence that consumed the country. Here's a glimpse of what you’ll find—and a call for your help.
