Andres Lehtmets (Rapporteur for the task force on InsurTech at EIOPA, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) discusses the current and future trends in terms of the evolution of FinTech in the field of insurance. Addressing both in the EU and beyond, he highlights in particular the opportunities and challenges for the actors in the industry, as well as for regulation and supervisory activities. The Florence School of Banking & Finance is a European platform bringing together practitioners and academics from the Banking and Finance sector to develop a common culture of regulation and supervision in the European Union.
