Cincinnati Improvisational Group "Had To Be" Live in the Studio!

CIG is David T Chastain on Guitar, Mike Skimmerhorn on Bass and Mike Haid on Drums. These 3 musicians would get together in the late 80s and early 90s for spontaneous jam sessions. This song was during the recording session for the album "Aberration." This is a different version of the song that ended up on the album. This was a one camera VHS recording by a friend of the band, Bob Kennedy. The band had completely forgotten about it before another friend of the band, Gary Heimbrock, found it recently. We think this was recorded September 3, 1992 but we are not 100% positive. This track is definitely the most mellow track the band jammed over. It is pretty dynamic and melodic. We hope musicians will enjoy this one.
