#travel #philippines #elnido #palawan #coupletravel #TLTtravel #missthitbo Welcome to my 28 days in the Philippines series with Missthitbo and Mr. G! 🇵🇭 This is my first time in the Philippines, and every place we visit is just WOW! 🤩 Follow along and see if the Philippines really deserves its title as the Beach Paradise of Southeast Asia! 🏝️ In this video, we spent the day driving around El Nido to check out its beaches. If you’re wondering what a road trip here is like, what to watch out for, and how El Nido’s nightlife feels—stick around! Here are some of the highlights for non-patient watchers 😂 00:20 Motorbike rental 500P/9$ for a day without Gasoline (50-100P for gasoline is pretty much enough for a road trip day 01:59 FIRST STOP: Li O Beach --- https://maps.app.goo.gl/2nGyRWBURb2eW... 06:13 SECOND STOP: Nacpan Beach --- https://maps.app.goo.gl/sjMPSmeuzhjBK... 12:38 El Nido nightlife at the TownSquare Heritage District --- https://g.co/kgs/hTYwEVa 13:27 Dinner at Pong's Pares --- https://g.co/kgs/iZGKdxJ Here are some tips if you decide to go on a motorbike road trip in El Nido, Palawan and discover their nature and beautiful Beaches ❓What is El Nido known for? El Nido is a small island in Palawan that feels like a gateway to paradise. El Nido is famous for its stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and epic island-hopping adventures. If you’re into beaches and exploring, this place is a must-visit. ❓How long should you stay in El Nido? We spent 4 nights in El Nido, and it definitely wasn’t enough—I wish we had stayed longer! With at least 4 island-hopping tours and a road trip day like this, I’d say 5 nights is a good call, depending on how adventurous you are. ❓ How much we spent on 5 days in El Nido? We spent around 1000$ for 5 days in El Nido • Accommodation: 670$/4 nights at El Nido Garden Resort --- https://maps.app.goo.gl/hieeJzNRPxpSS... • Transportation travel from Puerto Princessa to El Nido: 24$/2 people • Bike rental: 9$/day • Tour C island hopping (next episode): 4000P/70$/2 people • Miscellaneous (food & beverage, gasoline,...): 200$ ❓ Our thoughts on expenses in El Nido: Accommodation in El Nido was pricier than our usual travel budget, but everything else stayed fairly reasonable. Based on our research at the time, we had only two real options—either splurge a little for a good night’s sleep or go for a budget-friendly hostel with fewer comforts. We prioritised a good sleep because El Nido’s activities are physically demanding, from island hopping to road trips. After long adventure-filled days, having a comfortable place to rest was totally worth it ❓ Li O Beach vs. Nacpan Beach – Which one is better? Nacpan—because there’s no Nik Nik! 😂 But “better” is subjective, so here’s a breakdown to help you decide: 🌴 Li O Beach 👍 Closer to town, easy to access with no entry fee. The water is calm and refreshing, surrounded by beautiful scenery. 👎 Has Nik Nik (sandflies) that leave itchy bites. 💡 Tip: Use bug repellent and avoid sitting directly on the sand. 🌊 Nacpan Beach 👍 A long, beautiful beach with soft yellow-white sand, crystal-clear water, and more things happening. 👎 It’s further away, and the motorbike ride can be a bit challenging—some parts of the road are rough, and Google Maps can be misleading. But honestly, it’s worth the drive! 🏍️💨 ✅ Tips for a beach-hopping road trip by motorbike in El Nido 🏝️🏍️ Prepare: • Beach towels – Useful for sitting on the sand (and protecting against Nik Nik). • Sun cream – The sun is brutal, so protect your skin. • Water or electrolytes – Stay hydrated, especially on long rides. • Face mask – If you’re sensitive to dust, you’ll definitely need one. • Sunglasses & hat – A hat under your helmet helps with the heat, dust, and... let’s be honest, that helmet smells. 😂 💰 Always carry cash & small change for entry fees and environmental fees—many places don’t take cards, and don't have change If you have any questions, comment below or wait for the next episode about 'Tour C Island Hopping in El Nido'.
