This video is the start of a new “project use it up” focused on my makeup and gel nail polish collection. After going through everything, I noticed something interesting: this year I naturally reached for warmer, orange-toned makeup during summer, even though I’ve owned mostly pink-toned products for years. I still like them — but I want to actually use what I already have, instead of letting it sit unused. For this project, I’ll be tracking every time I use a makeup product or a nail polish. Not to rush through them, but to be more aware of my habits, my preferences, and what really works for me. With gel nails, the plan is simple but ambitious: use every color I own at least once next year. Some of them are a few years old now, and I’d rather enjoy them than keep them stored forever. This fits perfectly with my low-buy / no-buy goals for the year. Makeup and nail products take a long time to finish, so I’m planning just a couple of updates next year — likely one in summer and one toward winter. If I notice big changes or interesting progress, I might share smaller updates along the way. This is not about pressure or perfection, just about intentional use and learning from what I already own. Welcome back to Beeyorin, where using what we have is part of the process 🤍
