Because the entire profit through streaming and selling goes to a project of the aid organization GAiN, which visited the band together with the twins Lisa & Lena in Armenia in September 2019. Carefully we’re approaching the unreal scenery. We, that’s the twins Lisa and Lena and the five boys from the band Good Weather Forecast. Here we are. Thousands of miles away from our sheltered life in Germany. Here we are in the middle of nowhere between dust and glaring sunlight. Here we are trying to process these rough impressions. But what are we doing here? And how did we end up here in the first place? It all started with a song. One year before. Flo Stielper, singer of the band Good Weather Forecast meets up with his brother John Stielper and the swedish producer and friend „Chris Whale“ for some songwriting sessions in Hamburg, Nothern Germany. The result is a song - "Better Days". "For me, it was immediately clear that this song is something special," says Flo Stielper and continues, "The song is so vulnerable, so dramatic, and yet this great hopeful anthem rises in the chorus. Like a ray of light in the dark. A melody full of hope and full of life.“ Quickly the idea of a charity song arises. The band is sure! The song should encourage fans and listeners. And not only that. The song should help children in poverty. Give children hope. The band turns to the humanitarian relief organization GAiN, with which the band has been connected for years. Now it all comes together. Cause Lisa and Lena don’t only want to donate. They want to do more. „We want to use our influence to do something good“, Lisa tells. And so the idea of a joint campaign is slowly forming - Better Days - giving hope to children. Now we’re standing here. In Armenia. In front of this rusty container.
