We enjoyed a week's winter sun holiday in Port El Kantaoui and stayed at the Marhaba Palace Hotel. Join us as we explore the marina at the Hammam Sousse tourist area in Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia. In this video, we'll take you around the marina, as we look at the yachts, pirate ships, and pleasure boats, and enjoy the glorious warm and sunny January weather. Along the way, we'll have some friendly chats with the local shop and restaurant people hawking their services. We also try our hand at speaking a bit of Arabic. Come along with us as we take a relaxed walk around the Port El Kantaoui marina, just 10 kilometres north of Sousse in Tunisia. This place was built back in 1979 specifically for tourists, and it’s got everything you need for a great holiday – great beaches, a huge artificial harbour with 340 spots for luxury yachts to activities like water skiing and paragliding, plus some golf courses for the enthusiasts. The architecture here is pretty special, mixing modern designs with traditional Tunisian style. You'll see narrow streets, arches, and those iconic white buildings. The beachfront hotels stretch all the way from Sousse to the marina, offering miles of beautiful, clean sea views. Port El Kantaoui has a charming vibe, designed like a typical Tunisian village with white and blue buildings, cobblestone streets, and even a recreated medina quarter.
