The Giga-Science-China run isn't over, but we're getting close, and should wrap it up in the next couple of months. What's next on the agenda? Help me decide! YER OPTIONS: 1) Tropic of Cancer run: Capitals of all countries taken must be below the Tropic of Cancer (~24 degrees latitude) unless you have a Claim. Allows (eventually) to take Texas and California, the House of Islam, but in general, no China/US/EU/Russia/India *ever*. A very challenging run. 2) Protectorate UN: Create a Utopia-on-Earth using the 500k-cost Protectorate faction tech giving the UN a claim (sometimes hostile) on every region on Earth. End the game only when the aliens are completely neutered and your UN has merged every region on Earth, with Education 12+, GDP 180kGDPpc, Inequality 1, and Sustainability 10. Not super-challenging, but fun to see. Should take about 25 years total, with the aliens neutered by year 16 or so. Would probably try a Mars Dyson + Giga-Science-China run here just to see what the hybrid looks like. Might be less efficient than them working independently. Will definitely do this run eventually, but may get tedious at the end! 3) Africa/Caliphate -- starting nations must be in Africa or the Caliphate claims (generally the middle east), with an expanding set of claims as you research House of Islam techs. Non-HOI territories are fair game only after every single HOI/Caliphate capital has been taken. Another very challenging run, given the start, but at least there's a window to the EU, China, etc. later on. 4) Africa/House-of-Islam -- as above, but you can take all HOI capitals from the beginning. Difficult but a little (not a lot) less challenging than #3 (you can take, for instance, Indonesia and a lot of the 'stans earlier on.) 5) EU start (which I promise you will end up with us going to China). Honestly, not super-interesting IMO but throwing it out there. 6) Fix Climate Change run -- a standard run, but aiming to solve Climate Change (reduce all emissions to 'safe' levels) within 25 years. Pretty straightforward, not too challenging. 7) VIEWER'S CHOICE. Suggest a run! (Also -- thoughts about the audio now? Back to the original setup ...)
