"He couldn't go on any longer" - In this video I share my thoughts about the Avicii suicide and the problem that we have with mental health right now. SUBSCRIBE & FOLLOW THE JOURNEY - / paulmcgregorvideos I've received numerous messages about the recent announcement of Avicii's suicide. A few of you have asked me to share my thoughts, so I did this morning. Another celebrity suicide shows that we have a BIG problem when it comes to mental health and depression. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 and the biggest killer of young people. When will we wake up, take notice of the facts and do something about how mental health is perceived? In this video I also talk about the misconception that success and happiness is a destination. I discuss that by having money, fame, and achieving goals doesn't mean you'll become happy. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of Avicii and anyone else affected by depression and suicide. It's time we spoke up, it's time we helped with the prevention of suicide and it's time we removed the stigma that still surrounds mental health. To anyone affected by this, please don't hesitate to reach out. The CALMzone offer a free hotline for anyone who needs it.
