Tesla Model Y radio traffic announcements. An undocumented change in OTA update 2023.38.

This morning I have installed the latest Tesla over the air update 2025.38.3.1 which added Tron mode in the Toybox. Update 2025.38 also got installed at the same time which added some changes to the dashcam viewer. However, there is another undocumented change which I noticed immediately and that is radio traffic announcements. For the first time I got these in this two year old Tesla. DAB radio traffic announcements (TA) has not been available in my car until today. However, there seems to be no setting to turn this off. I've heard owners of the new Juniper Model Y were experiencing this issue and it now seems we all now get this too. It's good that Tesla have added traffic announcements, but they should have included a setting to turn it on or off, especially as its been a known problem for 7 months now! Personally, I don't want traffic announcements as the map already shows real-time traffic and is more useful than the radio announcements, which can be obsolete by the time they're broadcasted. Radio TA feels an old technology which isn't needed in modern car with live traffic & avoidance routing. I just wish there was a way to turn them off. The vehicle in this video is a 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD (MCU3/HW3) with the 62.5kWh (60,5 kWh usable) LFP battery and at the time of filming this running on software version 38.3.1.
