Welcome to The Untold Journey.3 ✨ This is Day 3 of our Dwarka-Somnath Gujarat road trip, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our journey. We started our morning with a good morning from Dwarka and left the city around 10:30 AM. Today’s plan included two beautiful destinations Madhavpur Beach 🏝️ and Somnath Mahadev Temple. 🛕 Our first destination was Madhavpur Beach, Gujarat, a peaceful and scenic beach known for its cleanliness and calm vibe. On the way, we passed through Mangrol village, which is famous for its fresh coconut halwa. We stopped there, tried coconut halwa made from green coconut for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! 😍 We loved it so much that we packed 10 boxes (250g each). The total cost was around ₹1000, and after a small discount, it costs us ₹850. We continued our journey with happy hearts. We reached Madhavpur Beach around 2:30 PM. The weather was very sunny and hot, but the view was totally worth it. I wanted to capture drone shots, but a local person informed us that the area is a no-drone zone. There were no official authorities present, so after discussion and at my own risk, I flew the drone. Honestly, the aerial views were breathtaking and unforgettable. The shots came out amazing, and it was completely worth the risk. After landing the drone, we spent some peaceful time there, clicked photos, and enjoyed the serenity of the place. Later, we started our journey towards our final destination – Somnath Mahadev Temple, which is India’s first and oldest Jyotirlinga. We reached Somnath around 5:15 PM. Phones are not allowed inside the temple, so we kept them safely as per the process. The darshan experience was truly divine. There was no rush, and we were blessed with darshan twice, which made the experience even more special. The spiritual energy of Somnath Mahadev is something that cannot be expressed in words. After darshan, we spent about 30 minutes at the sunset viewpoint, (Views of Arabian Sea) soaking in the divine atmosphere. We left the temple around 6:30 PM. 📌 Important Travel Tips: • The best time to visit Somnath is mid-December. • Weekdays are peaceful; weekends can be slightly crowded. • The road condition from Dwarka to Somnath is average, with many diversions and under-construction patches. • Somnath has a fast-track parking facility, but be aware – they may charge parking twice (₹50 + ₹50). Stay alert. This journey was special because we completed four sacred temple darshans: • Dwarkadhish Temple • Nageshwar Mahadev (8th Jyotirlinga) • Bet Dwarka • Somnath Mahadev (1st Jyotirlinga) The entire trip was filled with devotion, positivity, divine vibes, and unforgettable memories. Around 10:00 PM, we stopped at a Harihar Kathiyawadi restaurant for dinner. The food was extremely tasty and satisfying. After dinner, we continued our drive back to Vadodara and finally reached home around 4:00 AM. Traveling with the right friends makes every journey special. We were a group of five, and this trip was full of laughter, bonding, faith, and fun. When the people are right, the journey always becomes memorable. ✨ Stay tuned for our next journey!
