Don’t miss The Underpants at New Bern Civic Theatre this winter

New Bern Civic Theatre in New Bern, North Carolina, is staging Steve Martin’s The Underpants, a comedic farce adapted from a 1910 German play, running weekends from Jan. 30–Feb. 1 and Feb. 6–8 at the theatre. The show centers on an uproarious wardrobe malfunction that sends characters into a series of laugh-filled chaotic events. Director Craig Ramey and a cast of local performers promise audiences a night of humor and community entertainment. Opening night will feature a special treat with several period-inspired German dishes served in conjunction with the performance, adding flavor to the theatrical experience.
